James' music stems from the blues, but brings with it elements of bluegrass, country, and rock music. With the singers in harmony and all the string players pickin', this show is sure to transport you straight to the North Georgia Mountains. James has played and recorded music with many artists in North Georgia, and now we finally get to hear his original songs in their intended form. 

James is all about keeping it local: two local artists will be opening up this evening of music. Mark Mathews is a staple of Cherokee County, bringing along his gritty vocal style and his penchant for a party. Layne Denton and his band are ready to bring the heat with some hard-hitting, country-fueled tunes. Layne commands the stage like he owns the place and will get you singing along with him as he serenades the crowd in downtown Canton.
