Progress continues on the site work for construction of the FIRST park in South Canton, located off Marietta Highway. The aerial photos highlight the care that's being taken to protect the existing healthy trees that will remain as part of the park's design plan. The home that still exists on the property will be demolished in the coming weeks.

 

The park will include an accessible multi-level playground, a small amphitheater, a pavilion with restrooms, a skywalk in the trees, and a dog park with separate large and small dog areas.

 

The park is expected to be completed and open to the public by spring 2027.
