$1 Kids Summer Movie Series - Sponsored by Canton Main Street, begins on June 6 with “Finding Dory”. Tickets go on sale one hour prior to show time at the theatre box office. $1 concessions are available, and seats are first come, first served.
June 8 – 17 - “MAN o Pause” a musical comedy about midlife crisis.

CHEROKEE ARTS CENTER
Canton Festival of the Arts, sponsored by the Cherokee Arts Council, will be held in and around Brown Park on Saturday and Sunday, May 19 & 20, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The festival features a fine arts market, children’s area, Serenity Gardens, and plenty of food and music to enjoy.
Camp Imagine Summer Season is open for student registration at the Cherokee Arts Center. Mixed Media camps are open for June and July.
May 26 –The Canton Farmers Market opens for the season on May 26 in downtown Canton! The Cherokee Farm Bureau will hold a “potting event” for kids. Enjoy the Canton Farmers Market every Saturday, May 26 – Oct. 27, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
May 26 - is the first of the Summer Series of Movies in Brown Park, sponsored by Northside Hospital with Disney’s “Coco” at sundown. Bring your blanket or lawn chair for a movie under the stars.
June 1 – Canton First Friday in Historic Downtown Canton from 6 – 9 p.m. The theme is Summer Games and with live music from Local Legends. First Friday will be filled with fun for the whole family with a car show, dancing in the street, food and beverages to delight and wonderful local shopping!
June 2 - Dumpster Day – Free City cleanup day with dumpsters and electronic recycling at City Hall from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Go to cantonga.gov for more information.
