2019 Canton Festival of the Arts is now accepting applications from artists.
The 16th annual festival will feature 70 fine art and craft artists, music, food and is a fundraiser for the Cherokee County Art Center on May 4 and 5 in Brown Park.

Don’t Dress for Dinner
A comedy adaptation of a two-act play titled "Pyjama Pour Six" by French playwright Marc Camoletti, who wrote Boeing-Boeing. It ran in London for six years and opened on Broadway in 2012.

SR 140 Corridor Meeting
Join us Feb. 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Canton City Hall Auditorium (located at 110 Academy St.) for a public input meeting to review the project covering Waleska Rd. from Riverstone Blvd. to the entrance of Laurel Canyon/Great Sky. We will provide background information, talk about what problems we are working to solve and seek your input on this project. Canton Police Facebook Live Town Hall Meeting
Join Canton Police Department for a town hall-style Facebook Live meeting. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and continue for approximately an hour. The live stream will be available on the Canton Police’s Facebook page and will be archived for viewing after the broadcast is over.
The City of Canton’s “Dumpster Days” is a great opportunity for any Canton resident to dispose of trash, unwanted items, up to 10 tires per resident and recycle many electronics free of charge at the Canton Public Safety and Municipal Court Building (151 Elizabeth St.) from 8 a.m. to noon on Feb. 2.
