Wing & Rock Festival

THIS WEEKEND- March 23 & 24

The Wing & Rock Festival is an annual two-day FREE family friendly, food and music event that has something for everyone at Etowah River Park.

This event is the 3rd largest chicken wing festival in the country featuring some of the regions best-tasting wings. The amphitheater stage will feature live rock tribute & cover bands featuring Greener Daze (Green Day Tribute), Behind the Sun (RHCP Tribute), Nevermind (Nirvana Tribute), Fighting Foos (Foo Fighters Tribute), East Cobb School of Rock & DJ Suspense.


Downtown Canton’s Art & Wine Walk

March 29 & 30

Join Canton Main Street’s Art & Wine Walk Friday, March 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 30, from 2 to 6 p.m. Tickets are just $25 and include a wine tasting glass, event shopping bag, and wine stops throughout Historic Downtown Canton with local art and shopping. All proceeds benefit the Main Street Canton Façade Grant Program.

Sponsored by Synovus, the walk features 19 stops throughout historic downtown Canton for the two-day event. Participating businesses will host talented local artists and offer wine tastings. Participants must be 21 or older to enjoy tastings.

Artists Wanted!

2019 Canton Festival of the Arts is now accepting applications from artists.

The 16th annual festival will feature 70 fine art and craft artists, music, food and is a fundraiser for the Cherokee County Art Center on May 4 and 5 in Brown Park.

Canton Police Facebook Live Town Hall Meeting

March 25

Join Canton Police Department for a town hall-style Facebook Live meeting. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and continue for approximately an hour. The live stream will be available on the Canton Police’s Facebook page and will be archived for viewing after the broadcast is over.

Community Recruitment Expo

Join Canton Police Department for a Community Recruitment Expo from 1 to 3 p.m. at St. Paul AME Church, located at 390 Crisler Street.


Dumpster Day

April 6

The City of Canton’s “Dumpster Days” is a great opportunity for any Canton resident to dispose of trash, unwanted items, up to 10 tires per resident and recycle many electronics free of charge at the Canton Public Safety and Municipal Court Building (151 Elizabeth St.) from 8 a.m. to noon.

Please note—Canton Dumpster Days are provided for City of Canton residents only. Please bring proof of residency when dropping items off.
